The Ecos Latinos project director is Guatemalan independent video artist, CARLOS VALLADARES.

Musicians for Music's administrative duties are handled by PATRICE FISHER.

Carlos and Patrice are winners of Top 100 Valores Hispanos of New Orleans & the "Aplauso" award of the Aqui New Orleans bilingual newspaper for their contributions to the Hispanic community of New Orleans in the area of culture. They are also two time winners of the New Orleans Video Access Center's "Louisiana Video Shorts Festival" & two time winners of the Minority Access Committee "MAC" award for independent video documentaries by COX Cable.

The Ecos Latinos Series was recently awarded a Guillermo De Bango Artistic Excellence award from Que Pasa New Orleans and the  Cervantes Foundation, as well as a Community Service award from the Cutting Edge Music Business Conference for outstanding service to the New Orleans Music Community.

Mr. Valladares was chosen by La Prensa bilingual magazine as one of 15 People to Watch.
